Lovely job! I'm not sure fandom particularly hates OCs, but they have to be well-written (as they are here) and engaging without taking over the story or overpowering the main characters. It's hard to write good ones and many beginning writers spin out Mary Sues or cliches.

You, of course, have given Arthur a real life with some wonderful individuals--Bravo!
