Before I started really looking at the costumes, I always thought that Ariadne had her first experience in shared dreaming on the day she met Cobb. Not so.
I did notice that last time I watched the film. I haven't seen it addressed in fic, though - it always seems that after having passed the maze test, Cobb brings her directly to the warehouse.
And boo! to NY Mag. I agree with your assessment of her clothes, and I really dig her boots. Which remind me more of lace-up boots of yore than of motorcycle boots, but that might just be me.
Picked my three favourite outfits, but I'm not sure I'd pick the same three tomorrow - they're all so good.
