The Good Wife 2x03
Oh, I want Owen to be around a lot! We saw a completely new side to Alicia in this ep - she seemed so much less tense and guarded around her brother. The actors had a wonderful chemistry as siblings. They filled us is on quite a few details of Alicia's past - her parent's divorce, her maiden name - and they gave us a fairly good idea of why Alicia's family weren't around last season. Still, I hope we do get to meet Alicia's mother and father (if he's still alive).
I liked that she defended her life. Owen's criticisms were valid but Alicia isn't a victim - she's in this marriage with open eyes.
The case was interesting, the tension between theLeelaKalinda and Jason Street (I do need to try and remember his new name) continues to intrigue, I liked seeing Cary again, and there were little moments with Dianne and Will that reminded the audience that issues from the previous episodes were still a factor.
Eli Gold continues to amuse. Poor man, he deals with so much.
Being Erica 3x04
I know that for many people this episode will fuel the Erica/Kai ship but for me it showed that Erica and Adam could be really wonderful together. This is the first time they've been completely friendly with each other, without either of them being critical or defensive. They can talk maturely with each other - and boy oh boy didn't this episode show just how immature Kai still is - and their lunches were quite cute without being cavity inducing.
Great acting from Erin Karpluk, she got to run the gamut of emotions: joy, grief, uncertainty, panic, drunk (if you've watched Better Off Ted you'll know that Veronica, the well-intentioned sociopath, considers "drunk" an emotion. Also "sugar" and "spicy food". Damn, I miss that show). And I'm looking forwards to seeing more of Michael Riley - who is always great with the small moments they give him - do more as the story of Sarah seems about to come to a head.
Another great episode. Really can't wait for more.
