Good fanfic at crap sites is hard to find

The LoVe Shack, a board dedicated to disscussing that most magnificent of ships has a fanfic section.

The fanfic posted there is not always good. Well, most of it is awful, some of it ok, but every now and then you get a couple of good ones. It is rare but it happens.

This fic I just read 'I come from the Water' by samwg was actually pretty good. A WIP and slightly AU in terms of details, it deals with Aaron's trial and Logan, Weevil and Veronica working together to solve Felix's murder. The characterisation is excellent, and the author has a great handle on Logan's thought process.

Many people avoid fanfiction.net and rightly so; a lot of it is terrible.

However, kaosmalek has been writing a very, very awesome fic 'Blood and Roses' over there and it is one of the best VM WIPs I have read. It starts out with Veronica investigating a horrible murder and Wallace's subsequent disappearance. Logan starts helping her out. Not only are their interactions in-character but this fic is also really funny.

veronicamarsfic has been kind of slow recently so definitely check these two fics out.
