bennet_7Right now I'm watching The West Wing. The ep is '20 hours in America - Part 1'. I have it on DVD. I've seen it several times. It's a fantastic episode.
But a new TV channel just picked it up. So I'm watching it again.
And now a note to all the L/V shippers from Veronica Mars.
Logan and Veronica are not getting back together this season.
Deal with it.
No, this is not a spoiler. It is an observation.
I suspected that she'd get back together with Duncan. And early on in the season I did hold onto the hope that Logan and Veronica might get back this season.
But now if they get back together anytime soon I'll be seriously pissed off. Neither of them are ready to be in a relationship with each other. They have so many issues and they need to be dealt with. And I hope those issues are dealt with (It would be great television). Or they'll just break up again. Or they'll be broken up for dramatic tension.
And that would suck. Because when they get back together, I want them to stay together in their own messed up way.
So I'm pulling for friendship in the third season (with a heap of UST) with a third season finale get together. Then they're together in the fourth season.
In the mean time, my fellow L/V shippers, please DO NOT WRITE LETTERS TO ROB THOMAS, DIANE OSSTROFF demanding that they put them back together.
It's rude. It's manipulation. And if I were RT, I would really resent being forced to do something I didn't want to do at that time.
I love Logan and Veronica. I love them together. And I enjoy them apart. They're snarky. It's fun.
I have no doubt they will get back together. RT knows their chemistry and how much of the fandom loves them. But he'll do it in his own time.
So for now, just enjoy the show for what it is.
