So amazingly good. RT & co., I'm sorry for doubting you.
The episode was quite dark but I relished in it. I thought that the Fitzpatricks leaving Thumper in the bathroom was genius; Danny and Liam freak me the hell out.
Jackie: I love you. You are a seriously wonderful character and I hope you find your way into season 3. Wise, wise woman, I bow down to you. And taking that guy to the dance - so sweet.
Wallace: You're all confused and trying to be a good guy. Excellent work by Percy there.
Jane: You're lovely and nice. You had to say something to Jackie, and yet you didn't descend to the likes of Madison. I'll miss Jane.
Mac: HAS TO BE IN SEASON 3. Tina played those scenes so well. Fantastic acting.
Cassidy: For some reason I think you've been sexually abused by Woody Goodman. Did you play little league as a kid? I think so. Great work from Kyle there.
Woody Goodman: Your face sucks. Seriously Guttenburg, why would you do that to yourself? But coming onto Logan that way - and it was a total come on - I disliked you before, I frakking hate you now.
Gia: Stepped neatly into Dick's role as the comic relief and did it fabulously. "I'm like evolving!" Awesome.
Lamb: Nice work Michael. He and Kristen have such great chemistry.
Keith: You sly dog you. Of course, if you hadn't kept a copy, I woulda been pissed.
Weevil: Fantastic acting from Francis Capra here. The way he yelled "I loved him!" was so powerful. But that's gonna launch some new slash fic. And what about those kids who saw him knock out Thumper. That's gonna bite him in the ass.
Logan: I love you. You're so funny. He totally took Lamb's parking space. And I think JD was mouthing the word 'shit' at Gia before he was pulled away to dance. But what was up with the fugly clothes? Seriously Sal, you are killing me here.
Veronica: Great work from Kristen. She has such wonderful chemistry between her and all the male leads. I particularly loved her hair when she was dancing with Logan.
Logan and Veronica: Every L/V shipper who has fallen off the L/V wagon must have jumped back on with this ep. The chemistry between them was so powerful. The first scene was nice, especially on JD's end. The second out in the parking lot was so funny. Their banter was beautiful. The scene in the car was really great too. They were so friendly towards each other. Confronting the guy, they were very Hepburn/Grant or Hepburn/Tracy or Dunn/Grant or Russel/Grant or any other classic screen couple who snarked at each other.
And finally 'Sway'. When it started up over Mac and Cassidy I was a bit disappointed but then I was like 'if it couldn't be L/V then at least it could be them'. But then it became an L/V song and the shippers breathed a collective of relief. That dance managed to be so awkward yet deliciously intimate. They were really close together. I loved it.
Who was singing along? Come on, fess up.
Because they were talking as friends, they have made amends. Damn those lyrics are perfect.
So this is a ten out of ten for me. I loved it with all my heart and will re-watch it later (even if I only re-watch the dance).
