VM musings - ep 2.20

I've been going nuts waiting to see this ep.
Even though I love Gia, I wasn't in love with the A-plot.
Well I think that covers that.
Now on for the really important stuff: OMFG L/V!
Jason and Kristen were just so on! You could have cut the UST with a knife. When she comes to the prom and moves walks into the crowd he does this little appreciative whistle - so adorable.
And his drunken monologue - they are epic. Songs will be written about them. It was just a really beautiful moment. However I think "I hear the bells", the song that played (and one I love) wasn't right for the scene. Too upbeat and fast. Plus, I've been picturing it for a graduation scene so...
That final scene. It was so wonderful seeing Veronica being honest with herself and letting Logan know she cares. Of course Logan thought she rejected him last night so he went out and screwed Kendall. As soon as he opened the door I was say to my sister "There is someone else in the room. He slept with someone and she's still there." And then Veronica's tears and utterly shattered look - amazing.
I'm still all jumbled.

Date: 2006-04-28 05:37 am (UTC)I didn't picture "I Hear the Bells" in that kind of scene either. But, I kinda think it worked.
I've run out of thinks to say about this ep, other than it was great and I really loved the developments (particularly in the L/V department).
