Just watched the pilot for Aaron Sorkin's new show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

GUH!

And I don't think it's even Sorkin's A-game. He can actually do better than this and yet it was still impressive.

I'm looking forward to this with fiendish anticipation.

Part of the reason why I'm so excited for it was because I know that this was just setting up for Sorkin's best A-game! You can tell that it's just going to get better. And OMG, Matthew Perry just being on screen makes me laugh!

It's it lovely? I agree that there's still so much more he could do, but for a pilot, it's brilliant.

I don't know why, but it reminds me of The West Wing pilot a bit. Someone has a drug issue (now it's Brad--hee!) and there's general amounts of choas.

I know! He had to introduce all those characters and handled it really well.

I see it too. The way you're immediately in the drama and the bit-by-bit way of introducing the characters.
