1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
My book is The Poetry of Robert Frost. I like to read a poem each night before bed, thus the closest.
The sun in the new-cut narrow gap
Was hot enough for the first of May,
And stifling hot with the odor of sap
From stumps still bleeding their life away.
Interestingly, Rememberance Of Things Past by Marcel Proust is second closest, then The Outsider by Albert Camus.
Followed by Barry Trotter and the Unnecessary Sequel ;-)

In this example, we'll create a simple, functional table. On a page that already has a recordset defined, create a region to be repeated by defining at table with two rows and as many columns as you wish to display from your recordset (Figure 7.2)."
The book closest to me? Visual QuickPro Guide: Macromedia Dreamweaver Advanced. Second closest is Stitch and Bitch, followed by Checkhov's The Steppe, and Other Stories (which I haven't read).

Date: 2006-08-01 07:17 pm (UTC)I'm actually surrounded by books, the titles of which are:
Madame Blueberry Learns to be Thankful
My Grandma and I
Bear Hugs
and
Baa! Moo! What Will We Do?
(among other things)
Not a one of them has a page 123, sadly.
I like to read a poem each night before bed, thus the closest.
Aww. That's kinda nice.

My mum chased up a first edition copy for my 18th birthday so it's extra special. And I find Frost very soothing most of the time - it's a nice way to wind down my brain.
