Remember last week when I was all excited about Veronica Mars?

Yeah. Don't feel the same this week.

I really hope this is the last season. I just can't stand for the show to continue like this.

The funny thing is, I really don't know ;-) It's not so much this ep as it is this season in general. I'm rewatching season 1 at the moment and I just love it. All of it. Even "Drinking the Kool Aid" and most people hate that one. I loved how everything fit, how the relationships weren't the focus but instead grew organically out of the story. I loved Veronica more, I loved Logan more, I cared about Lilly and I laughed and cried at the things they said.

This season, for me, just lacks what made me fall in love with the show. I hope that they can wrap it up at the end of this season and then we say good bye.

Some shows have really excellent first seasons and then they go and have even better 2nd and 3rd seasons. For me, Veronica Mars had one of the best first seasons I've ever seen, but what has followed, though good in places, has not had nearly the same overall quality.

The episode was fine but I'm not here for "fine". I don't spend 12+ hours downloading for "fine". I want it to blow my socks off with the awesome. That's what it used to do. And I'm dissappointed that I'm not getting that anymore. I'll watch to the end but I want the end to be soon so that the show goes out with some dignity.

I don't think you're the only person who's frustrated by the quality at all, Ben.

Once I grow to love a show, I don't give up easily, even if things aren't the same. Though, I think if I'd had to sit through a download and was disappointed, I'd have something to say about it.

I've heard something to suggest that RT is worrying about at S4, so maybe your wish will come true.

I don't think I could ever really give it up. I enjoy this fandom so much I'd probably stick around for it - too many awesome people ;-)

Anyway, RT will probably make me love him again in the latter half of the season. The man's good at that.

Since you are feeling emo about VM, now would be the perfect time to create the "emo sleeves" design for the Cafe Press store. They finally added long sleeved shirts! Black or blue for men and black or brown for women.

That is awesome and I would love an emo!sleeves shirt but I have no talent in that area. However, aftersolong is a big fan of The Sleeves (she made all my emo!sleeves icons for me) and she's designed products before so maybe get her input on it.
