This is basically a rant about the anti-Veronica sentiment out there in the 'Veronica Mars' fandom. If you're one of my non-VM friends or you don't want to be spoiled up to episode 2.9 with speculation beyond: ignore this.

Ok I'm getting seriously pissed off at some of my fellow Logan/Veronica shippers. I'm not naming names.

Some of them seemed to think that VD would be over by now and we'd be in the midst of L/V again. And they are seriously pissed off that it hasn't happened that way.

At the end of season one I didn't really expect Logan and Veronica to stay together long. Because VD did need to get back together and sort out their various issues. Of course I had hoped that it would be over by now but I have high hopes for episode 10.

And no I don't approve of how quickly VD got back together but I see that as necessary from more a time line point of view. It had to be done quickly.

Nor do I expect Logan and Veronica to get back together any time soon. They have too many issues to overcome and Veronica especially needs to really earn his trust. I am expecting a lot more sexual tension and 'moments' between them but I wouldn't be surprised if they get back together in the season finale.

I really want to see them working together and not just on his case. Duncan will be leaving (I'm pretty certain) and with Wallace still out of the picture (wouldn't it be interesting if Wallace refuses to help Veronica on cases after he comes back) I'm expecting her to rely on Logan a lot more. And it will be really great to see Logan, Veronica and Weevil working together.

They need to really establish their friendship again and show that they trust each other before they embark on another relationship.

Now some of the other Logan/Veronica shippers are really hating Veronica right now. Yes she isn't as kick ass as last year. And she's not calling Duncan on his shit the way she would Logan. But that is no reason to call her 'The Ice Bitch of Neptune."

I firmly believe that her frosty attitude towards Logan is just her putting up walls against him. In her eyes he's dangerous and he is; he can really hurt her emotionally. Veronica doesn't like to feel weak or be in situations which she doesn't control. This why she is being 'bitchy' towards Logan.

It seems that because L/V aren't together, some of my fellow shippers are saying that the show isn't as good and as interesting as last year.

I don't watch this show for L/V. L/V and Logan is probably one of the main reasons I watch it, but let's remember that this show is called 'Veronica Mars' and is about a girl detective. It is not called 'The Logan and Veronica Show' (though I'd probably watch that show anyway).

I have faith that L/V will happen again, and because of that faith I am willing to go where ever Rob Thomas takes me (though I'd prefer it if there was no more VD).

So is it too much to ask that people stop with the Veronica hate and just sit back and enjoy the SHOW? Because it is a TV show. It is not real.

And if it doesn't go my way there is always fanfic.
