bennet_7I just bought tickets to the Blackjack Music Festival. It's going to be super fantastic. THE PIXIES ARE THE HEADLINERS!!! Gnarls Barkley is the other big international act. Local boys The Vines and The Living End are also playing as are one of my all time favourite bands, Eskimo Joe, whom I saw play earlier this year at the Southbound Music Festival and for me, they were the best act there, kicking Modest Mouse's ass (Seriously. Modest Mouse sucked. I'm so glad I paid $40 for a t-shirt...not). So yes, I'm pretty psyched about this concert.
And now for something completely different.
For anyone interested in Pilot watch '07, here's a list of just some of our possible future favourite TV shows.
This one in particular jumped out at me:
Extraterrestrial terrorists? (Say that five times fast) Hee. Still, it's James D'Arcy (who is everywhere right now) and the concept is kind of new so I'm crossing my fingers for this one.

James D'Arcy (Master and Commander) has been tapped to star in Fox's drama pilot "Them," which centers on a sleeper cell of extraterrestrial terrorists who take the shape of humans. D'Arcy will play the lead agent responsible for enforcing policy.
