Wow. I mean, WOW. This must have been a labour of love; I can't even imagine how long it took you to assemble all this and annotate it! You've done a brilliant job at explaining the reasoning behind the clothes, and I love your impassionate defence of Arthur's imagination and originality, with which I happen to wholeheartedly agree. You've also got an excellent eye for detail. You've done an amazing job here! Totally memming this for future reference.
The clothing was so amazing it the film; I think it was at least part of the reason why I enjoyed it so much. It's such a pity that they'll never get the recognition they deserve in terms of awards! In terms of their career, though -- plenty of directors and producers would have spotted their brilliant work, and I expect they'll be highly sought after in the future!
Also -- I WANT ARTHUR'S BOOTS. So damn gorgeous! Too bad they don't do a ladies version! ):
