For slayervixen who wishes VM amusement

So this is SPOILERY for the next couple of eps of 'Veronica Mars' (season 2).

It is pretty much just a casting spoiler in the form of a pic that slayervixen originally posted but I have...altered it.

WARNING: The following is VERY childish of me. I can only blame it on my rabid L/V shipperness.

Edited to add: While this does start out as rather childish, as I was writing I started analysing the whole thing and even came up with a new theory concerning Felix.

Yep. That's the chick who will be playing Hannah Griffith, Dr Tom's daughter, and potential road block to an L/V reunion.

Ok, so this was really quite beneath me but it looks like she is going to be a part of the second triangle RT has talked of and I can't stand the thought of Logan liking this girl, so I was basically FORCED to turn this girl (have forgotten the actor's name) into a wierd pirate/demon in the process of being murdered.

If you disapprove of this act, well, I did warn you.

My original thoughts on this character can be found here.

My latest thoughts on her, drawn from what we know of 2.15 where she is still around, are as follows.

Hannah originally shows up 2.13, again in 2.14 and is still there in 2.15.

She is the daughter of Dr Tom Griffith, the false witness who could land Logan in jail.

Logan is going to start dating Hannah, apparently so he can get to her father.

However, my fear, and the fear of all L/V shippers, is that Logan will fall for Hannah in the same way Veronica fell for Leo; he'll start out using her and then grow to like her. From what we know so far, Hannah is a really nice girl, who seems to believe in Logan and that Logan is a nice guy.

Of course Logan is pretending with her to some extent. She doesn't know the real Logan. But having someone believe in him is going to have a great affect on Logan. He may start to actually like her.

And honestly, I don't want Logan to be using her in cold blood. He'd just be an asshole then. But if he has real feelings for her then...he has real feelings for her. Which is bad. Because then we get another stupid love triangle.

Hannah would have to be the better option for Logan on paper. She hasn't betrayed him. She hasn't abandoned him. She didn't dump him unceremoniously and then go back to his best friend. She hasn't done all the things that Veronica has done to Logan.

So there we have Logan and Hannah. Hannah makes Logan a better man. They hold hands in the hall. He stops being the sarcastic jerk we all know and love. He doesn't love Veronica any more.

WHAT THE HELL?

Logan and Veronica are meant to be together (maybe not this season but definitely the next) and nothing anybody says to me is going to dissuade me of this opinion.

There has been some argument over at TWoP that in the same way Veronica came to dump Leo, Logan will eventually ditch Hannah for Veronica. This theory, as it stands, doesn't really hold for me.

Logan has already been really hurt by Veronica. It would take a lot of trust on his part for him to try again with her. And if he's got such a sweet deal with Hannah, then why should he bother? He may not love Hannah like he loves Veronica (and he does love her) but Hannah isn't going to hurt him the way Veronica already has and potentially could.

So.

Here is what I would like to happen.

Logan starts off using Hannah. He begins to feel guilty about it. He may even start to like her a bit but then she finds out. Hannah is hurt but Logan owns up to it. Then he tells her that he could have liked her a lot. He's just in love with someone else. Logan and Hannah part ways, with Logan now more emotionally mature. And with Logan in possession of some necessary evidence. He brings that evidence to Veronica, she once again confronts him about what he did but backs down when she sees that this whole experience has caused him to grow up a bit. Tentative friendship forms between the two. Return to them being friendly and sarcastic to each other. Friendship grows. Yada, yada, yada; you know where I'm going.

Or.

Hannah turns out to be an evil little minx, who is in on the scheme with her dad. Maybe she was dating Felix! And has her own reasons for revenge! And is thus playing Logan! That would be awesome!

So, in conclusion LOGAN AND VERONICA FOREVER! WE WUV THEM BEARY MUCH!

Ah, thank God. My thoughts exactly.

Aaah, I don't know what I loved more, "we wuv them beary much!" (because we totally do) or the beautifully sabotaged Hannah pic. Hell, I'm choosing both. I think I do have a girl crush on you :)

I really can't imagine us when we'll witness a L/V reunion. Seriously. Everyone will be so high. *sighs*

Live journal will stop working because we are all trying to post the same thing: Squeeee!

All instant messenger services will stop working as everybody tries to type at once: OMG OMG OMG bak together Logn ad Veronca love love love!!!!

And poor souls like you and me who live in countries where nobody will know what we are talking about will self-combust.

But it will all be ok because Logan and Veronica will be back together.
