Thanks for ruining Europe for me Rob

My Veronica Mars Season 2 DVDs arrived today. So far I've watched all the special features and episodes 2.17 to 2.20.
Also, I think Rick's been sniffing the sharpies again.

Keith is in Woody's office and the campaign sign says "PROP 51" which is funny because it is a prop. (Yes, I'm lame) Anyway maybe it has some weird American meaning (could it be (gasp!) short for "property"?). Still, the "51" eludes me.
Finally, I saw M. Night Shyamalan's new film Lady in the Water last night. Reviews haven't been too enthusiastic for it but I really enjoyed it. I guess I just like pretentious social commentary. At the very least, he takes chances with his story telling and is unafraid to eschew some film cliches. The film is flawed but you have to admire the vision and intent.
Paul Giamatti is fantastic as the stuttering protagonist, and while Bryce Dallas Howard has a very unfortunate hair cut in the film, she likewise impressed me. If The Time Traveler's Wife is made into a film, I really hope that she plays Clare.
And check out the talent in Kenneth Branagh's film version of As You Like It. I get giddy looking at that list.
I now know the horror of those deleted scenes featuring Duncan. Thank the lord they were cut because they were awful. I need therapy. Scones and Europe and pretending to be Tom Cruise - the horror! And what person doesn't know to babysit with television? Seriously, that's just common sense. At least she had him watching some Anime - all I ever get to watch when babysitting is Dora the Explorer which makes me want to blow my brains out and I like kids television (always happy to watch Sesame Street and The Wiggles).
The Logan scene from 2.07 was really cute, as was the Gia one where she talks to Keith.
The gag reel was pretty good, though not as good as the Alias ones. Alias always has fantastic gag reels. The two docos were really short and fluffy - no substance to them. Still, Kristen was really funny and charming throughout.

I was going to comment on the Prop thing, too, but I don't need to.

I still haven't bought VM2. I will... but not this month.
