So the internets have not been working. Again. If I owe you something and you haven't heard from me, that is why. I'll get onto it soon. I wish I could say that I used my internet free time productively but I didn't.

I loved this episode. I wasn't surprised that Jim and Pam weren't together but that doesn't mean I'm not a little sad. I was surprised that Jim had gone through with the transfer and I really missed their looks in this episode.

But good on Pam for calling off the wedding, getting her own place and taking art classes. You go, girl!

Roy is hot. Weird.

ED HELMS!!! as Jim's new obnoxious co-worker was excellent. ED HELMS!!!

(Sorry, I really like ED HELMS!!! though he's not my favourite Daily Show correspondent.)

A lot of people have been talking about how awkward the "Oscar coming out" story line was but I didn't think it was too bad (but then I have seen the original Office and they are the masters of awkward). However, even though I find Angela very amusing, I wanted to slap her because I hate people who are that narrow minded.

So yes, can't wait for the next episode. Really hoping for at least one Jim/Pam scene.

I was re-watching the last couple of eps of season 5 of The West Wing yesterday and am now of a mind to read some good Josh/Donna fic. If you know of anything good, rec it!

Hi! I saw no one had "procrastinated" on this one, so I figured I would go ahead and do it. I just got into The Office (US) this past year, watching a few first-run eps but catching the bulk in reruns. I had seen the first two eps of the first season but thought they were slow or something and gave up on the show, only to find out it got a lot better soon after, just like The Colbert Report that I started watching daily since the spring after giving up on that after two weeks. I don't have a real feel for these things, do I? So anyway (I tend to ramble), I loved the first two eps this season, and am looking forward to the rest of the season almost as much as Veronica Mars! I agree with your thoughts on the 1st ep; Jim/Pam is sorely lacking. He's coming back to the Scranton branch during November sweeps, I think? Ed Helms was good ("Big Tuna") but he was always my least favorite Daily Show correspondent. After Colbert, Corddry, etc. But I'll probably enjoy him and the other "Tailies," as they've been cleverly dubbed somewhere or other online (I can't remember where). Also, Creed is hilarious (along with everyone else, really): "There would be no way of knowing." Hee.
