I caught up with Heroes over the break and I like it a lot. It's fun, the cast is hot and it doesn't cause me pain the way some shows do.

This episode was really good. Some of the characters were even funny OMG! even though a lot of the dialog is still boring as hell.

I'm really excited about the Doctor showing up. I can't wait to see him in a scene with Hiro and I hope they acknowledge it in some way.

I'm not really sure why Peter is going to the desert to search for Ted and I hope they make it clear in the next episode because staying away from him seems like a good idea to me.

And will we finally get to see Linderman? I hope so. If anyone hears of any casting spoilers of that nature, let me know ok?

And Veronica Mars is finally back. I've been mostly positive about it's return because I'm completely unspoiled and have been staying away from all the interviews.

Hee. I've only just now realised that Wallace wasn't in the episode at all. That's sad ;-)

I enjoyed it mostly, though this ep feels like the calm before the storm. Interesting idea to skip those six weeks but it worked well. I'm just a little sad because we missed the christmas episode and we didn't get to see how Logan was spending christmas with out a family (AGAIN). The anniversary of his mother's death is approaching - I wonder if they'll acknowledge it this season?

The A-plot was good though very similar to that of 1x16. THE MONKEY WAS SO CUTE!!! I WANT A MONKEY!!!

Also kinda cute was enviro!boy aka Mac's love interest. However, I've seen the actor play a bad guy somewhere and so I've got some doubts about him.

Yay! for someone finally recognising Keith! I'm hoping we'll find out that Landry knew who Veronica was too when they first met because it is just silly for Keith and Veronica to go continually unrecognised - especially by a criminology expert.

No emo!sleeves in this ep ;-(

And finally Logan and Veronica. I didn't expect that to happen and it was nice. So it will probably all go to hell next week.

I'm not watching the promo because I don't want to angst about it so don't tell me anything please!

Finally, today is Australia Day which is always a weird event for me because I just don't know what it means to be Australian. Plus, I'm so annoyed with our government that there are times when I'm ashamed to be Australian. *sigh*

Did they acknowledge it in S2?  Forgive me if I'm blanking, but I can't recall them ever mentioning it past S1.

Sadly, no. Lynn's death, which was such a large part of season 1, is not important anymore. The thing is, it would be really interesting to explore Logan's mummy issues and hey, they could tie it into Veronica's mummy issues. Hell, I'd settle for them to just mention one thing from season 1 that didn't directly focus on Veronica. All of this is unlikely.

I believe you are in the same boat as the Americans on that one...

I love VMars. I love hearing when others love VMars. That is all.

Instead of emo!sleeves you got emo!pillow stroking.

I don't get it when people say they are ashamed to be Australian because of the actions of a few.

I'm sure as heck not. We live in a country where we are free. We have a democratic processes that help ensure that freedom. We have the ability to voice our oppinions without fear of disappearing into the night. We have more public holidays than pretty much any country on the planet. We have it better than most - On this day of all days I am glad to be Australian.

We are still the one country in the world where our visa's are universally accepted - despite the threats of a few nutters.

Australians are generally regarded as top blokes and great girls. Every friend I have had who has travelled around the world has said the same thing - people in other countries were excited that they were in the presence of Australians and were treated the better for it.

I am glad to be Australian. And I don't care who is in power as long as they uphold the constitution and laws of this country.

Well, I missed Wallace, but only because I had to see Piz was being all weird.

Logan was being emo, and without the sleeves, and that sort of made me sad.

Not watching the promo is a good idea, and well, just let next week play out.
