The latest ep of The Office was really great.

And I for one am not surprised or annoyed that Pam and Roy have hooked up. He's been trying so hard this season to make it up to her and I've been really impressed with how his character has evolved. Many couples who've been in a relationship together hook up again - sometimes they end it for real after wards or they get back together again. I don't think that Pam and Roy will stay together but I can totally understand why she would turn to him at this moment.

Ryan said nothing this ep but it was hilarious when he knocked the bouquet away from Kelly and into Toby's girlfriend. And OMG Toby was so cute!

I'm so glad we got to see Scrantonicity. Them pretty much only playing The Police - hee! And now I'm going to associate 'Fields of Gold' not only with Matt and Harriet from Studio 60 but also JimandPam.

I love Pam's dress. I have the perfect shoes to go with it.

Michael was Michael. Very cringe inducing. I don't think he's been that awkward for a while.

Does anybody know how many episodes will be in this season? I'm just trying to figure if JimandPam will have time to get together this season. It will probably be the season finale but I really want Pam to consciously pine for Jim and actually fight for him.

I'm pretty sure it's 22. It's the norm here unless it's a midseason replacement or a gimmick (like 24), particularly on the big networks.

And I'm with you. Pam needs to step it up at some point. I don't think I'd be satisfied if once again Jim is driven to reveal his feelings and Pam then goes for him. I still think she should've just sucked it up and given him a call after cancelling her wedding (although, I prefer the UST anyway, so I'm glad that happened). I'm all for lovesick Jim. It is entertaining (I rewatcedh Booze Cruise to The Carpet this week, and damn he just gets his heart stomped on over and over again... and it's so entertaining). But at some point the revealing of feelings has got to be reciprocated by Pam, or I just won't have any respect for her. It is nice to watch her be a little lovesick right now, though.

And I could totally understand her going with Roy. I don't think she was making a commitment to get back engaged or anything. She was sad and he was being nice to her. And he's a comfortable old habit. Why wouldn't she leave with him? Besides, how many times have we seen Jim hook with a new girl (or attempt to) because he was hurting from not being able to have Pam?

Michael was Michael. Very cringe inducing. I don't think he's been that awkward for a while.

The last two episodes I've felt more and more bad for Michael. I mean, seriously, what kind of childhood did this guy have? He has no friends, he's totally mixed up about sex, he's only ever been to one wedding (that of his mom and the stepdad he hated) before Phyllis and Bob's, he's only ever been to the one bachelor party, etc. I mean, come on? He pissed himself in public and his mom just replaced him with the dog?

I would love to see Pam pine for Jim...but I'm not sure he'd hold back, so there may not be any drama there.

But it'd be wonderful.

And Michael. Ahh, what was he doing? I'll agree, he was so awkward tonight. More than he has in awhile.
