Dear FanFiction.net writers,

Informing me that you suck at writing summaries in the summary is no inducement for me to read your fic. In fact, your inability to write a good summary (which need only be a single sentence stating that "[Character A] and [Character B] go on [adventure] or do [activity]") makes me doubt your ability to write a lengthy piece of fiction. It's like a swordsman saying "Let's fight but you should know that I have a weak knee and frequently drop my guard". It's like going to a job interview and explaining why you aren't qualified to do the work. It's like saying you're good at something and then providing evidence that you aren't - no, wait, that's not what it's like, that's what it is.

Also: what the hell is up with LJ? Un-customized comment pages are screwed up, icons are disappearing, my nav bar has changed colour without my express permission, and fonts are changing to ones with serifs. SERIFS!!! ON THE INTERNET. THAT IS UNHOLY.

Talking specifically the Veronica Mars section....

I love it on fanfiction.net when:

1. They write in their summary "I suck at writing summaries"; "Story is better than the summary, promise"; "Crappy summary".
 
2. Their username is character based like Iluvlogan4eva, cassidycasablancasrox, veronicamars10101.

3. Their AU is something like this: Lilly is alive, Duncan doesn't exist, Logan just moved to Neptune, Veronica and Original Character are best friends and solve mysteries together, Beaver is a good  guy, Veronica has a  half-sister.

All at the same time.

4.They use ship names like LoVe, DiVe, DuV, WeeVer and MaDi to describe their stories.

5. When Veronica is an abused housewife, escaping her husband, who returns to Neptune with her  young child and the child is actually Logan's.

6. They write crossovers with One Tree Hill  or The O.C.

7. They write song fic set to a Kelly Clarkson or Dashboard Confessional song.

8. When Logan contemplates suicide on the Coronado Bridge.

9. When Duncan is a creepy stalker/psychopath/murderer.

10. They tipe leik dis an it is totly cool!

11. They use the word "tragic" in the summary.

12. When it is based on a novel.

13. When 14yr olds write smut.

14. When Veronica talks to Principle Clemmons.
